Surrogacy

In some cases a woman is physiologically challenged to bear and to give birth to a baby. In such circumstances the only chance to have a biological child is to use services of a surrogate mother.

Medical Center Intersono runs a program in Surrogate Motherhood under which our clinic offers a whole range of surrogate motherhood services: we pre-select and examine prospective surrogate mothers, provides a legal and administrative support during the entire program period. In the history of our clinic we have had about a dozen childbirths through surrogate motherhood.

In our database we keep contact information of persons offering their services in surrogate motherhood. Whenever a couple addresses us to find them a surrogate mother, we offer them to choose someone from the available database of surrogate mothers.

Next, we organize a meeting for the prospective surrogate mother and the couple, where they can discuss all legal, moral and practical aspects. We prepare a whole set of documents for the cooperation between the couple and the surrogate mother, so that after the baby is born, there are no problems in issuing its birth certificate. After signing all normative documents, the parents reach an agreement with the surrogate mother as to the time when she will stop working. Since sometimes the couple and the surrogate mother live in different cities, the couple may rent an apartment for the surrogate mother nearby the maternity clinic so that they can be close by when the labor starts.

Sometimes prospective parents come to our medical center with their own candidature. It could be some of their friends or family.

Please be cautious and don’t take offers from strangers on the Internet. When you search for a surrogate mother on your own, you stand a high chance to be cheated. Unfortunately, there were cases when women forged their medical records to take part in the program, they don’t want to help out but rather get advantage of the people in the predicament.
