Embryo Transfer

Embryo transfer is carried out by a reproduction specialist. With the help of a special catheter, a physician can transfer a specified number of embryos with their nutrient environment. The procedure is monitored by ultrasound sensor.

Upon the procedure the patient is advised to lie down for 5 to 10 minutes, and after that she can return to her daily life. The patients are advised to avoid strenuous exercise, warm baths or sexual activity. After the embryo transfer the patient is prescribed medications maintaining her hormonal cycle and sustaining implantation (estrogen, progesterone, chronic honadotropine preparations).
